Rent your Game Server
Rent your Teamspeak
In this article we will explain how to change the icons of each user group on our server. In fact, with Teamspeak 3 there is no limit to the customizations that can be made.
- Right click on our server and select View Icons as shown in the screenshot
- The Group Icons screen will open. The default images already present in the server are shown on the right. The custom ones added to the server are shown on the left. In our case, having not added any images yet, the left side is empty as in the screenshot

- We use the Upload button to upload images from our PC to the server to be used as icons for user groups. In our example we have uploaded the flags of Germany, France and Italy
- Once the icons have been uploaded, we just have to assign them to the server groups. To do this, click on Permissions and then on Server Groups

- We carry out the following instructions as numbered in the image above
- We select the group for which we intend to change the icon
- Let's help us with the filter in the search field to find the i_icon_id parameter
- Double click on the value field. The Group Icons screen will open
- Double click on the image we want to use for the group
From this moment on, the setting we made will take effect immediately and our custom image will appear next to the user group involved
If the View Icons button is not clickable (gray) or if it is not possible to upload due to an error message (Invalid size), open a ticket. We will take care of enabling you to manage icons. This is a problem that can occur with those who purchased the service before Beta 27 of 09-09-10.
