In order to allow the Teamspeak 3 server to be queried by remote sources like TSViewer you will need to make permission changes that allow Ospit to query the server.
Please follow the steps below in the order they are presented to make sure everything is set up correctly.
Step 1.
Open your Teamspeak 3 client and connect to the server.
Step 2.
In your Teamspeak 3 client navigate to Settings Options
< strong> Step 3.
On the left side of the new window, make sure you have Application
selected. On the right panel, you need to check Advanced Permission System
Step 4.
Choose Apply and then OK at the bottom of the window.
Step 5.
In your Teamspeak 3 client navigate to Write Permissions & gt; Server groups .
Step 6.
In the new window, ensure Guest selected in the left part . Using the filter in the central box enter the following b_virtualserver_info_view
Step 7.
Under the filter you will see the new authorization option , you need to right-click on it and choose Add permission .
Step 8.
You should now see with the permissions value selected.
Step 9.
Repeat step 6 and 7 with the following filters:
b_virtualserver_client_list
b_virtualserver_channel_list
Step 10.
Once you have completed adding permissions for the three items above, you will be set up to remotely query the status of your server. </ p>
